Larry Friedman

Larry Friedman is a native Washingtonian with extensive experience in live theater, film and television. As a youth, he appeared as Fritz in The Nutcracker Suite and as a member of Young Columbian’s, he performed in prestigious locations, including The White House.

He has performed lead roles in many regional theaters to include: Pippin in “Pippin”, Joseph in “Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat”, Whizzer in “Falsettos”, Willy Porter in “Gifts of the Magi”, Edward Emerson in “The Night Thoreau Spent in Jail”, Huck Finn in “The Adventures of Tom Sawyer”, and as “Derevenko” in the World Premier Showcase/Cast Recording of “Rasputin” with Ted Neeley, Amanda McBroom, and Sir John Hurt.

​Larry is currently the Co-Associate Artistic Director of The Young Columbian’s for Columbia Center for Theatrical Arts and owns and operates a successful vocal coaching and theater arts business.
