Internationally Renowned Trumpeter
Kevin Burns has been a staple of Washington DC’s music scene for over 19 years. Known as a powerful lead trumpeter as well as an artful jazz and pop musician, he brings over 30 years of experience performing at the highest professional level. Since 2002 he has been a member of the Airmen of Note, the premiere jazz ensemble of The U.S. Air Force, where he also served as leader from 2017-2020. Kevin has performed for four presidents and many of the nation’s top political and military leaders. His has also performed in every state in the continental U.S. as well as parts of Europe, South America, and the Middle East. Kevin has played with an extensive list of jazz/pop/R&B artists as well as enjoyed countless studio recording sessions.
